NAME    [Toc]    [Back]

kopt - Displays a menu of optional kernel components that
can be selected to build into the kernel

SYNOPSIS    [Toc]    [Back]

       /usr/sbin/kopt

DESCRIPTION    [Toc]    [Back]

When you invoke the kopt command, a menu of optional kernel
components is displayed where you specify the kernel
components you want to build into the kernel. Individual
selections are separated by a space. The kernel components
shown on the menu depend upon the software subsets that
       are installed on your system.

EXAMPLES    [Toc]    [Back]

The following example selects two kernel components to
build into the kernel # /usr/sbin/kopt

       *** KERNEL OPTION SELECTION ***

               1 Reserve Kernel Debug Space
2 Streams Socket Coexistence (DLPI &
       STRIFNET)
               3 X/Open Transport Interface (XTISO)
4 ISO 9660 Compact Disc File System (CDFS)
               5 All of the above
