visuallogin(4) visuallogin(4)
visuallogin, noiconlogin - select and control console login program
The configuration flag visuallogin selects the type of login program used
for the graphics console. If windowsystem is on and visuallogin is on,
the visual login program pandora(1) or clogin(1) is used for logins.
(Systems running 4Sight have pandora(1), systems with the IRIX
Interactive Desktop have clogin(1) ). If windowsystem is on and
visuallogin is off, the standard xdm login program is run. If both
windowsystem and visuallogin are off, the standard IRIX login(1) program
is used.
If the configuration flag noiconlogin is off, pandora(1) or clogin(1)
displays icons for each user. If it is on, icons are not displayed. For
clogin(1), this can also be configured using configClogin(1M).
The value of the flags can be set to on or off using chkconfig(1M).
/etc/config/visuallogin
/etc/config/noiconlogin
chkconfig(1M), clogin(1M), configClogin(1M), login(1), pandora(1).
