TSIX_OFF(3N)							  TSIX_OFF(3N)

NAME    [Toc]    [Back]

     tsix_off -	disable	trusted	networking

SYNOPSIS    [Toc]    [Back]

     #include <t6net.h>

     int tsix_off(int fd);

DESCRIPTION    [Toc]    [Back]

     tsix_off disables trusted operation on file descriptor fd,	which must be
     associated	with a socket.	This causes the	socket to be subject to	normal
     system security policy regarding incoming data. This is the normal
     default for all sockets.

CAPABILITIES    [Toc]    [Back]

     If	_SC_CAP	is in effect, a	process	calling	this function must have
     CAP_NETWORK_MGT capability	in the permitted vector	of its capability set.

RETURN VALUES    [Toc]    [Back]

     If	_SC_IP_SECOPTS is not in effect, tsix_off always returns success.

     tsix_off returns 0	if successful, otherwise -1 is returned	and the	global
     error value errno is set with the appropriate error code.

ERRORS    [Toc]    [Back]

     [EINVAL]	    Invalid Argument.

     [ENOSYS]	    Function not implemented.

     [EPERM]	    Operation not permitted.

     [ENOTSOCK] Attempted a	socket operation on a non-socket.
