CVPCS(1M) CVPCS(1M)
cvpcs - The WorkShop Debugger Server
/usr/WorkShop/usr/lib/WorkShop/cvpcs [-lLd]
cvpcs is normally invoked by cvpcsd and, after performing the security
checks described in cvconnect(1m) serves as a debug server for the
various visible components of the WorkShop Debugger (cvd) and the
WorkShop Performance Analyzer (cvperf).
-l Disables validation using .rhosts files.
-L Enables logging of successful requests, as well as unsuccessful
ones, via syslogd(1M).
-d Run in a debugging mode. Security checks of cvconnect are bypassed;
the server runs with the user identity of whoever starts it. A port
number is printed out during startup, which must be provided as a
negative number to cvd as the -pcsnum parameter. Only useful for
SGI support functions.
