       Common Security Services Manager library (libcssm.so)

PARAMETERS    [Toc]    [Back]

       The handle that describes the add-in  certificate  library
       module  used  to  perform this function.  A pointer to the
       CSSM_DATA structure containing the certificate from  which
       to  extract  the public key information.  A pointer to the
       CSSM_KEY structure containing the public key and  possibly
       other key information. The CSSM_KEY structure and its substructures
 are allocated by the service provider and  must
       be deallocated by the application.

DESCRIPTION    [Toc]    [Back]

       This function returns the public key and integral information
 about the key from the specified certificate. The key
       structure returned is a compound object. It can be used in
       any function requiring a key, such as creating  a  cryptographic
 context.

RETURN VALUE    [Toc]    [Back]

       A  CSSM_RETURN  value  indicating  success or specifying a
       particular error condition. The  value  CSSM_OK  indicates
       success. All other values represent an error condition.
