     sensorsd - monitor hardware sensors

     sensorsd

DESCRIPTION    [Toc]    [Back]

     The sensorsd utility retrieves  hardware  sensor  monitoring
data like fan
     speeds,  temperatures  and voltages, via sysctl(3).  It uses
syslog(3) to
     send an alert if they are out of the given limits.

     Limits for a particular sensor may be specified in the  sensorsd.conf(5)
     configuration file.
