     pthread_self - get the calling thread's ID

     pthread_t
     pthread_self(void);

DESCRIPTION    [Toc]    [Back]

     The pthread_self() function returns the  thread  ID  of  the
calling thread.

RETURN VALUES    [Toc]    [Back]

     The  pthread_self()  function  returns  the thread ID of the
calling thread.

ERRORS    [Toc]    [Back]

     None.
