     monitorRemovableMedia - enable mediad monitoring of a device

SYNOPSIS    [Toc]    [Back]

     /usr/sysadm/privbin/monitorRemovableMedia device

DESCRIPTION    [Toc]    [Back]

     monitorRemovableMedia is a	privileged command that	tells mediad(1M) to
     monitor device.

OPTIONS    [Toc]    [Back]

     device    Device special file corresponding to the	removable media	device
	       to start	monitoring.

FILES    [Toc]    [Back]

     /etc/config/mediad.config	 Configuration file for	mediad(1M).
				 monitorRemovableMedia edits this file to
				 monitor a device.  mediad notices the change
				 via fam(1M).
