NAME    [Toc]    [Back]

listPrinters - get	list of	printers from a	remote system

SYNOPSIS    [Toc]    [Back]

     /usr/sysadm/privbin/listPrinters host-name

DESCRIPTION    [Toc]    [Back]

listPrinters is a privileged command that gets a list of printers which
are connected to host-name. The list is written to standard output, one
     printer per line.

listPrinters works	by running /usr/lib/print/listprinters. listPrinters
is	a separate program because /usr/lib/print/listprinters must be run as
root in order to work properly; listPrinters is used to grant users the
     "list printers" privilege.

OPTIONS    [Toc]    [Back]
