     cdevsw_remove -- removes a cdevsw entry

     cdevsw_remove(struct cdevsw *oldentry);

DESCRIPTION    [Toc]    [Back]

     The cdevsw_remove() function removes oldentry from the cdevsw table if
     its major number is greater than or equal to zero, and is less than

     Its argument is:

     oldentry  The device to remove from the table.

RETURN VALUES    [Toc]    [Back]

     A value of 0 is returned on success; otherwise, EINVAL is returned indicating
 that the major number is not in the valid range.
